Isn't it beautiful? A few people have already told me they love it, which is good considering the fact that - despite my complete obsession with this layout since the first time I saw it - I wasn't sure it fit me. I mean, it's called "teacher's pet" and it's entirely along that whole "apple a day" (+ several hundred other exchanges) mantra, but all the same, it didn't feel like me. I think it's a color issue. But nonetheless I love it, and so do other people, and that's just a nice perk on a Sunday when your head's been caving in. (I'm doing the good thing, though. I'm going out with parents, after taking meds, to stay stimulated and not entirely lose my mind. I'm not spending the day in bed with blankets over my eyes, as I was previously compelled to do. I even went on a very short bike ride, to stir up the morphine within. Hooray for taking care of myself. And I'm going to eat two more very good meals today. Which used to go without saying, but these days saying it feels better than not.)
Not that I'm going to use this layout as an excuse to talk about food all the time. That would bore me. But I do need to occasionally encourage myself on the ed front, even if I'd rather spend my time pretending I don't have one. Life works better that way. And I would stay and talk about something other than how sweet this layout is, but unfortunately society beckons. (And I need to order my Alix Olson cd before I go, so...)
